Pollens are means by which trees, grasses, and weeds reproduce

Some pollens circulate only at certain times of the year, while others pollinate year round
Here are some general tips you can use to decrease your exposure to pollens
- Shower or rinse off after being outdoors for an extended period of time
- Change clothes
- Consider staying indoors when the pollen counts are high
- At home and while driving, keep windows closed at all time. When possible keep the AC on recirculate mode
- Don’t air dry or hanger dry linens or clothing outdoors
- Pets can be a source of outdoor pollen exposure indoors. So make sure to wash hands after interacting with pets
- HEPA filters for home AC units and vacuum cleaners
